Stellar is one among the Top ISO AS9100 Certification(Rev D) consultant for Aerospace Quality Standards in India and is regarded as one of the best by all of our clients. AS 9100 is the international Quality Management System – Aerospace Industry
The standard provides suppliers with a comprehensive quality system for providing safety in the “high risk” aerospace industry. AS 9100 also addresses civil & military aviation requirements.
AS 9100 was developed by experts in the Aerospace industry from Europe, Asia, and USA. Registration to AS 9100 was mainly for suppliers to companies such as Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop Grumman, Rolls Royce, GEAE, and NASA.
The scope of the AS 9100C Rev C standard was increased to include the Aviation, Space, and Defense industries, as well to integrate the ISO 9001:2008 changes. This standard was released in January 2009 and as of July 2012 it stands fully implemented.
AS 9100C is the 2009 revision of the Aerospace Standard (“AS”) containing requirements for establishing and maintaining a quality management system (QMS). AS 9001C includes the requirements of ISO 9001:2008 plus additional requirements for the aviation, space, and defense industries.
Instead of specifying the requirements of the final product , AS 9100C focuses further “upstream” on the processes or how you produce. AS 9100C requires documented systems for controlling the processes, that is used to develop and produce the products.
